WELLINGTON, Fla., Jan. 25, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Miami-based auction firm Platinum Luxury Auctions looks to register its 8th consecutive sale in Wellington, Florida on February 15th, when it offers a 3.74-acre equestrian estate for sale at a live auction. The property was previously asking as much as $6.15 million, but will now be sold to the highest bidder who meets or exceeds the auction's $2 million reserve price. Platinum, which sold and closed each of the previous seven auctions it has conducted in the world-famous equestrian village, is managing the sale in cooperation with listing brokerage Engel & Völkers Delray Beach. Matt Johnson is the listing agent representing Engel & Völkers for the sale.
"We really enjoy working in the Wellington marketplace," stated Trayor Lesnock, Platinum's founder and president. "With our extensive experience both within Wellington and in other equestrian and ranch markets throughout the country, we've developed an unparalleled database of wealthy equestrian buyers around the world, in addition to fine-tuning our marketing platform to reach even the niche segments of the equestrian, ranch and farm buyer base."
Platinum's most recent auction sale in Wellington was in May 2018, when it sold Kismayo Farm to one of the members of a prominent California wine family. Platinum's promotion of the auction attracted an international collection of prospective buyers, including the world's youngest female billionaire. "Our Wellington buyer registries have been quite a 'Who's Who" list," Lesnock added.
The February 15th sale features an estate situated in Wellington's Southfields community, a boutique, gated subdivision with a collection of multi-acre estates located within a short distance of the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) grounds. Each year, the WEF attracts the global elite to Wellington for a series of glitzy horse events and competitions, and proximity to the WEF grounds has long been the most significant component of a horse property's value. The property is also just ten minutes from the Palm Beach Polo & Country Club and five minutes from the International Polo Club grounds.
Situated on nearly 4 acres, the property offers a 12-stall barn, 8 paddocks and a mirrored, 20m-x-60m outdoor riding arena. The courtyard-style barn features brick aisles, tongue-and-groove ceilings, a fly-deterrent system and wash racks, as well as separate laundry, feed and tack rooms. Mature landscaping and manicured hedges offer shade and privacy.
Equestrian amenities are complimented by an impressive residence with an attached, three-car garage. The home offers a total of 4 bedrooms, 4 full and 1 half baths throughout more than 4,800 square feet (which includes a cabana/guest suite with kitchenette). Prominent features include a gourmet kitchen, oversized master suite, office/study, sauna and custom pool.
