Industry Veteran Joe Weiss Rejoins NPA's Board of Directors

Joe Weiss, PLT's Global Head of Brand Management, will assume a position on the Association's Board of Directors – a seat he held during his previous tenure as President of Nutrition21, LLC. The Natural Products Association is the largest and oldest nonprofit organization representing the interests of consumers, manufacturers and retailers of natural products. The organization has more than 1,900 members and represents more than 10,000 retailers, manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors of natural products. This strategic move reinforces PLT's longstanding commitment to industry leadership, scientific rigor, and proactive engagement on policy and standards shaping the future of the natural products space.

According to Joe Weiss, the move to join NPA comes at a critical time for makers and marketers of supplements and functional foods and beverages and is motivated by PLT's commitment to industry leadership and engaging in dialogue with the health and wellness community.
