Polycase® Expands NEMA 4X Series of Waterproof Electronic Enclosures to Offer Four New Sizes

AVON, Ohio, May 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Offering choices for both indoor and outdoor applications, the Polycase NEMA 4X rated WA, WC and WP Series of waterproof electronic enclosures have expanded to include four new enclosure sizes. Ranging from 2.28 x 2.52 inches to 14.12 x 7.84 inches, the plastic enclosures now host 17 different size options. The WA, WC, and WP Series are UL listed to UL508-4X and meet IP65 of IEC 529 and NEMA 1, 2, 4, 4x, 12 and 13 specifications.

The NEMA 4X enclosures feature a silicone rubber gasket and stainless steel screws that provide your electronics with protection from harsh environmental factors such as dust, dirt, and moisture. The WC and WP Series are molded in flame retardant UV-stabilized Polycarbonate plastic. Ideal for outdoor use, these enclosures are conducive to temperature ranges of -40 degrees C to 120 degrees C. The WC Series enclosure consists of a light gray base with a clear cover. The WP Series is a solid light gray enclosure. The WA Series is molded in flame retardant dark gray ABS plastic and is ideal for indoor use. Temperature range for the WA Series is 0 degrees C to 80 degrees C. Optional internal mounting panels, surface-mounting flange kits, and cable glands are available as accessories for all sizes of Polycase NEMA 4X rated enclosures.
