Polystar Selected by Yoigo for End-to-End Service Assurance

STOCKHOLM, Feb. 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- (http://www.myprgenie.com) -- Polystar, a leading supplier of Service Assurance, Network Monitoring and Test Solutions for the telecom market, today announced that it has been selected by the Spanish mobile operator Yoigo (owned with a share of 76% by TeliaSonera) to supply a network-wide signalling monitoring solution, ensuring end-to-end quality of service. The contract spans over 4 years, and covers a turnkey installation and professional services.

In fierce competition, during an RFQ process, Polystar succeeded to close a multi million Euro contract with Yoigo. The key differentiators behind the selection of Polystar as a supplier were high availability, functionality, local presence and cost efficiency. Polystar's Network Monitoring and Service Assurance solutions have proofed to conform to all technical requirements and will be deployed on Yoigo's network, replacing the existing system.

Yoigo has been experiencing a rapid network growth since their launch in late 2006 and is well on their way of achieving the goal of 10% market share by 2015. Polystar's future proof and powerful product portfolio will aid Yoigo vision of delivering high quality mobile services to the Spanish market. In addition to giving Yoigo full visibility of the network performance and services quality, Polystar reporting tool Jupiter also adheres to the so important Spanish SETSI regulation's quality KPIs.
