Port Logistics Group Expands to First Midwest Facility with New Customer Win

LOS ANGELES, April 4, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Port Logistics Group, one of the nation's leading providers of omnichannel logistics services, today announced its first expansion into the Midwest. The company will take control of multi-client operations at a 305,000 square-foot facility in Columbus, Ohio following a new customer win in the home goods category. In addition to attracting wholesalers and retailers requiring Midwest-based logistics services to distribution centers (DCs) and stores, the Columbus facility will serve a growing roster of Port Logistics Group ecommerce retailers as they expand their direct-to-consumer (D2C) businesses.

The location supports reduced fulfillment costs for customers while decreasing transit times to provide an improved customer experience.
