Prairie States Adds Johnston in Sales Expansion Push

On board as of Monday, September 26, Johnston joins newly named VP, Regional Sales, Brett Wilkinson in the company's push to expand market share throughout the Midwest and beyond.

Johnston arrives at Prairie States with a wealth of experience across the spectrum of the employee medical benefits industry. With an early grounding in claims processing and as a network administrator with a major carrier, the Michigan native also spent ten years on the brokerage side of the business. Having spent the past 15-plus years in sales, he'll be pursuing opportunities primarily in the Indiana and Illinois markets to expand Prairie States' footprint there. A longtime resident of Northwest Indiana, Johnston will make his home base at the company's North Michigan Avenue offices in Chicago.
