MAYFIELD VILLAGE, Ohio, April 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Preformed Line Products (Nasdaq: PLPC) today announced the launch of a newly redesigned website (Preformed.com).

The redesigned website provides easy navigation through the extensive list of infrastructure solutions Preformed Line Products provides and allows one-page viewing of all information related to a specific product line (e.g., description, features and benefits, pictures, application procedures, print catalog PDF, videos, part numbers and accessory tables).

Additional features include:

"Product search" function that allows visitors to instantly jump to a specific product page.
Completely redesigned homepage that will focus on companywide initiatives and new product launches.
"PLP News" signup that allows visitors to register to receive periodic updates via email about news, product launches, and industry insights.
