MEMPHIS, Tenn., June 17, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Premium Guard Inc. (PGI), an automotive manufacturer and supplier, announces the appointment of Bob Johnson as Vice President of Heavy-Duty Sales.

With over 30 years of leadership experience in the heavy-duty industry, Johnson brings extensive market expertise and a strong track record of driving revenue growth, strategic sales execution, and building high-performing teams. In his new role, he will oversee PGI's heavy-duty sales division, leading the development and execution of sales strategies, creating customer relationships, and advancing PGI's position within the heavy-duty aftermarket.

Johnson spent over three decades at Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems, serving in various leadership roles across marketing, product management, and sales—including Vice President of Aftermarket Sales and Marketing. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager – Central Region at Sampa US LLC, where he led both commercial and operational strategy while contributing to the profitable growth of the company's North American business.

Johnson holds two MBA degrees—one in Finance from Iona College and another in Management from Baldwin Wallace College—as well as a Bachelor's degree in Consumer Affairs from the University of Rhode Island.
