The Sustainability Scorecard allows institutions to select the geographic, discipline, subdiscipline, and financial data point variables most relevant to their strategic and financial planning. The Sustainability Scorecard presents aggregated totals and rates of change for financial data points, like Total Revenue or Payroll Taxes or Fundraising Special Event Expenses. For example, a historic house museum can discover the revenue, cost-of-goods-sold and profit generated by other historic house museums in its city or state or nationally. A railway museum can compare its total revenue and total expenses against other railway museums in its city or state or nationally. An African-American history museum can determine if the revenue, expenses, and net income results achieved at its fundraising special events are similar to the results achieved at other African-American history museums or history museums in general in its city or state or nationally.
