Private Club Merges Social, Work, And Wellness Amenities In One 50,000 Square Foot Facility In The Heart Of Charleston, S.C.
CHARLESTON, S.C., Aug. 9, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Wonderer Charleston, a modern oasis offering luxury social, work, and wellness-based amenities to its members who seek to lead a balanced life – officially announced its begun construction today. Phase one of the new 50,000 square foot facility is slated to be complete in the Fall of 2018, which will make its event space "The Garden" and partial wellness programming options open, just in time for corporate events/team happy hours, Fall weddings and holiday parties. Phase two, which will include the club's full-service restaurant, wellness cafe, fitness program, co-working space and pool will open in Spring/Summer of 2019.
This innovative new club and event space will also be one of the first in Charleston to operate in a consciously sustainable and carbon neutral manner via initiatives like solar paneling, and rainwater recycling for drip irrigation throughout the grounds. Members will also have an opportunity to participate in an array of corporate charitable giving initiatives. The Wonderer is located in the growing district of the Upper Peninsula – 1705 Meeting Street.
