Private Media Group Launches New Subscription Video-On-Demand Service with Voddler

BARCELONA, Spain, May 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Private Media Group, Inc. (NASDAQ GM: PRVT) a worldwide leader in premium quality adult entertainment content today announced a new leading subscription service with Voddler Group AB, Scandinavia's premier web based video-on-demand (VOD) service provider.

In addition to the current Pay-VOD service, the new subscription model enables users to enjoy unlimited hours of entertainment. In connection with the launch of the new service, Private Media Group is increasing its library of high quality content on Voddler with more than 20 new titles every month reaching over 150 new titles by end of 2011. The enhanced library includes Private's classic blockbuster titles as well as gay content.

In 2010, the two companies announced a multi-year agreement for the exclusive delivery of adult content to Voddler. Leveraging Voddler's leading distribution platform for VOD, with both free ad-based and pay-per-view solutions, Private now has 100% coverage and premier positioning throughout the Scandinavian online VOD market.

With the Private agreement, Voddler launched an extended content filter function to help its customers manage access to content. The filter function assists both individuals who wish to limit their exposure to specific titles and families who wish to share a login between family members of varying ages.

Voddler offers premium films and series, both pay-per-view and free advertising-funded, on Internet-connected devices where and when the viewer wants. Voddler has over 1 million registered users in the four markets where it operates: Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. In 2010, "voddlerites" watched over 5 million films from a growing catalog of close to 4,000 titles from the world's leading entertainment companies and film studios.
