On August 4, 2014, BP Plc (BP) announced that the Government of Indonesia has approved the environmental and social impact assessment, AMDAL, for the Company's $12 billion Tangguh Expansion Project and issued the project an environmental permit. BP informed that the AMDAL includes Tangguh's environmental and social commitments and also outlines the role of the local administration and central government. According to the filing, subsequent to the Company's Q2 2014 financial results announced previously on July 17, 2014, the Company reduced its Q2 2014 and H1 2014 diluted EPS and diluted EPS from continuing operations by $0.02, due to increased legal accruals which increased "other expenses" within the Institutional Securities business segment in the quarter and six months ended June 30, 2014 by $53 million related to agreements in principle to settle certain mortgage-related matters. Dresser-Rand Group Inc. Research Reports
On August 4, 2014, Dresser-Rand Group Inc. (Dresser-Rand) announced its Q2 2014 financial results. The Company's revenues during the quarter declined 22.0% YoY to $628.4 million. Dresser-Rand said that the decline in revenue was a result of lower volume primarily due to previous delays (12 to 18 months prior) by the Company's end-user clients in placing equipment orders for major projects, mostly for upstream applications. Net income attributable to the Company also declined to $29.1 million, or $0.38 per diluted share, from $53.3 million, or $0.69 per diluted share, in Q2 2013.
