PruittHealth Acquires Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Rockingham, North Carolina

ROCKINGHAM, N.C., Oct. 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- PruittHealth announced yesterday that it has officially taken over operations of Rockingham Manor in Rockingham, North Carolina. Now known as PruittHealth – Rockingham, this new skilled nursing and rehabilitation center has enabled the PruittHealth Family of Providers to expand its service coverage in more areas of the Southeast.

The 120-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, located in Richmond County, has represented the community for more than 40 years. PruittHealth purchased the center in October 2009, and until yesterday, it was under lease to an outside operator. The 34,500 square foot building sits on 4.14 acres of land and serves Richmond County and the surrounding area, specializing in short-term rehabilitation services, while offering long-term solutions as well.
