Based in New York, Kurtz and Kakar join the firm from Davis Wright Tremaine. Their arrival comes directly on the heels of last week's announcement of partner E. Scott Schirick to the firm's White Collar Defense & Investigations group.

Kurtz acts as general counsel to many of his clients and as a principal outside counsel to others. Kakar earned her LL.M. from Harvard Law School, her LL.B. summa cum laude from the London School of Economics, and her B.A. summa cum laude from St. Stephens College, Delhi University, India.
