Pryor Cashman Expands West Coast Litigation Capabilities with International Law Partner Michael Novicoff
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 18, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Pryor Cashman is pleased to announce that Michael Novicoff has joined the firm as a partner in its nationally-recognized Litigation, Media + Entertainment and International Groups. Based in Los Angeles, Novicoff has extensive experience handling complex business litigation, arbitration and mediation throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia. He joins the firm from Liner LLP, where he was a partner.

As a result, Novicoff focuses his practice on representing major motion picture and television producers, sales agencies, financers and distributors, as well numerous foreign governments, and is routinely engaged by prominent global corporations to manage complex cross-border litigation. Novicoff has recently been managing the defense of multiple copyright infringement and other intellectual property actions brought against U.S. parties by entities in France, Russia, Romania, Taiwan and Brazil, among other foreign jurisdictions, and has a strong and active California-based litigation practice as well.

He also serves as an arbitrator and mediator with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Arbitration and Mediation Centre and for WIPO's Film and Media Centre. Novicoff is the past chair of the International Bar Association's litigation section.
He received his J.D. from Harvard Law School, with honors, and his B.A. from the University of California, with honors.
