PubMatic Accelerates Growth in Q4

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Sept. 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- PubMatic, the digital media platform for publishers, today announced its roadmap for growth in Q4, fueled by 118% growth in revenue over the last year. Through the end of the year, PubMatic will hire over 100 new employees, increasing its workforce to over 450. The company also announced that it is expanding into four new offices in Q4—London, New York, Sydney, and a global headquarters in Redwood City—representing a substantial, long-term investment in a major infrastructure build out. This growth also includes a $3 million investment for three new data centers located in Amsterdam, New York City, and Silicon Valley.

The company's expansion is largely driven by PubMatic's rapidly growing customer base, which includes a host of global comScore publishers. Since Q1, the company has nearly tripled its international presence, and is now active in more than a dozen foreign markets including India, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, the United Arab Emirates, and Spain, with presence in China and Japan slated for early 2014.

PubMatic's New York City office is expanding and moving to a new location in the heart of the publishing district on 42nd Street, while the new London office--designed by architects from Maris Interiors--is located in the Soho area among some of the city's key media companies. PubMatic's international headquarters in Redwood City represents a 50% growth in square footage over the company's existing space. Similarly, PubMatic's new office space in Sydney is located in the city's Central Business District, and the move will allow PubMatic to accommodate hiring during the second half of the year.

PubMatic's data center investment will also be bolstered by adding hosted facilities in Brazil and Japan. PubMatic's data centers process more than seven terabytes of data per day.
