DENVER, June 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- PwC US today announced that Rob Ward, a partner in PwC's Technology industry group, will be relocating back to the firm's Denver office from San Jose, California. In his new role, Ward will be responsible for working with technology and other start-up companies to navigate through complex issues such as revenue recognition, public equity offerings and international expansion.

With almost 20 years of experience, Ward has a seasoned background working with an array of public, private equity and venture-backed emerging technology companies in supervising the audits of financial statements and internal controls over financial reporting, as well as assisting them with their complex business issues. Ward was also an active member of PwC's National Professional Services Group where he worked within SEC Services between 2008 and 2010. In this position, Ward provided consultation and advice on accounting and reporting matters to SEC clients, including companies during their initial public offerings.

Ward is a graduate of San Diego University where he earned his bachelor's degree in business administration, with an emphasis in accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Colorado and California.
