PwC US Announces 3 New Partners in the Missouri Market

ST. LOUIS, July 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- PwC US announced three professionals from its Missouri market have been admitted into the firm's partnership, effective July 1, 2013.

Mike Baltzell was admitted as a tax partner.  Baltzell has over 14 years of experience providing a variety of tax compliance and consulting services to large privately held companies, private equity groups and high net worth individuals. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Missouri and Illinois and his qualifications include a master's of accountancy with a specialization in taxation from Southern Illinois University—Carbondale.

Brian W. Bernert was admitted as a tax principal.  Bernert specializes in state and local income/franchise tax engagements and provides services in the areas of state and local income/franchise taxation, sales/use taxation, and credits/incentives on a multi-state basis.  Bernert received a bachelor's degree in finance from The Ohio State University and a juris doctorate degree from Capital University Law School.  He is licensed to practice law in Ohio.

Sean Toohig was admitted as an assurance partner serving clients in the financial services sector.  He has over 16 years experience in the financial services industry with extensive experience serving banking, capital markets, broker dealer and asset management companies.  Toohig serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kansas City.  He received his bachelor's degree in accounting from Case Western Reserve University and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the states of Missouri and Ohio.
