CINCINNATI, July 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- PwC US announced today that Mark Carlson from its Cincinnati office was admitted into the firm's partnership. In addition, the professional services firm announced that Assurance Principal Dawn DiMuro-Rogers and Assurance Partner Chuck Braddock relocated to the firm's Cincinnati office to assume leadership appointments. Both announcements were effective on July 1, 2014.
Mark Carlson was admitted as a partner in PwC's International Tax Services practice. Carlson brings more than 16 years of professional experience, including a two-year assignment with PwC Luxembourg, and specializes in advising U.S. and foreign multinational companies in cross border restructuring transactions, local country tax optimization, accounting for income taxes, foreign tax credit planning, tax compliance and quantitative analysis. Carlson also currently serves as part of PwC's Integrated Global Structuring Team. He received his bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Saint Francis and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), licensed in Minnesota and Ohio.
Carlson is among 180 professionals admitted to the US partnership, representing all PwC service lines. The number includes 69 new partners in audit and assurance, 49 in tax, 61 in advisory and one in internal firm services. The new admissions bring PwC's US partnership to more than 2,850 men and women.
Dawn DiMuro-Rogers has been appointed as the new Risk Assurance Leader for PwC's Ohio/Kentucky/Indiana (OKI) market. She previously was based in New York and has been a principal in the firm's Risk Assurance IT practice for the past seven years of her 30-year career at PwC. She has served global companies by being responsible for IT general controls, general application controls and security assessments. DiMuro-Rogers received her bachelor's degree in accounting information systems from Pace University in New York.
Chuck Braddock has been appointed as the new Private Company Services Assurance Leader for PwC's OKI market. He was previously based in Atlanta and brings more than 26 years of experience serving private companies, multi-location international private companies, family owned private companies, local affiliates of international companies, and multi-location billion dollar SEC registrants, across various industries. Braddock earned a bachelor's and a master's degree in accountancy from Mississippi State University. He is a CPA, licensed in the states of Georgia, Florida, Mississippi and Ohio.
