PwC US Appoints Rod Adams as US Recruiting Leader

NEW YORK, Aug. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- PwC US announced that Rod Adams has been named US Recruiting Leader. In this role, he will be responsible for managing the campus and experienced recruiting activities for the US firm, including PwC's Advisory, Assurance and Tax lines of service. Previously, Rod served as PwC's Advisory Human Capital Strategy Leader and led leadership and career development programs for the firm. He is based in the Chicago office.

As the leader of recruiting for PwC, one of the largest employers in the US, Rod will lead a team that is responsible for hiring more than 15,000 full-time professionals and interns over the next year.  Rod will also drive innovation in PwC's recruiting programs, as well as social and digital brand-building activities, that deliver on PwC's commitment to building leaders who build the future.  He will continue to develop PwC's "Aspire to Lead" series, focused on how women navigate the transition from campus to career, and will further develop the firm's promise to help students grow their careers in ways most aligned with their career and life goals.

Throughout his nearly 20 years with PwC, Rod has held a number of senior human capital roles. He began his career at the firm in client service in PwC's Assurance practice before assuming several recruiting positions, including Central Region campus recruiting leader. He also served as the firm's diversity recruiting leader, experienced recruiting leader and as the Greater Chicago Market HR leader before joining the US Advisory Human Capital team. Rod received his degree in Accounting from Illinois Wesleyan University.
