PwC with Adecco won an award in Change Management; PwC and PUMA won an award in Corporate Responsibility; PwC and ING Private Banking won an award for Customer Engagement; and PwC and Pizza Hut, Inc. won an award for Operational Performance.
"For two years now, we have been recognized for our dedication to client service through the AMCF Awards program and we are honored to have been chosen as a winner in four distinct categories, demonstrating the diversity in our consulting capabilities," said Dana Mcilwain, PwC Vice Chairman and U.S. Advisory Practice Leader. "We work collaboratively with Adecco, PUMA, ING Private Banking, and Pizza Hut, Inc., to help them achieve their business objectives and support them from strategy through execution. These awards are a reflection of our deep commitment to our clients, our understanding of their business and their industry, and our ability to help them close the gap between ideas and results."
In the Change Management category, PwC worked closely with Adecco, a global provider of staffing solutions, to help them improve and standardize processes following two very large acquisitions. Together, PwC and Adecco created a common language around change management and a sense of continuous and sustainable improvement across the company, leaving Adecco with a lasting legacy of deep cultural and behavioural change.
In the Corporate Responsibility category, PwC worked with PUMA with the goal of creating one of the world's most sustainable companies. Using a range of pioneering techniques, PwC, working with Trucost, partnered with PUMA to design, develop, and deploy a new methodology that provided the world's first environmental profit and loss account. This resulted in PUMA having insight into the environmental consequences of commercial decisions and of its environmental impact by region, by product line, and by use of raw material. Overall, PUMA was able to better assess environment-related risk.
In the Customer Engagement category, PwC worked with ING Private Banking The Netherlands to co-design and implement a new target operating model to enhance service to its private banking clients. The resulting service model enabled ING to provide a combination of 24/7 daily banking services along with customer direct wealth planning and advice delivered through bankers, portfolio managers and local support staff, creating a new form of Private Banking that has been highly appreciated by its clients.
In the Operational Performance category, PwC worked with Pizza Hut, Inc., a world-recognized industry leader with over 6,000 restaurants in the U.S., to help the company realize its objective of exceeding customer expectations and improve operational performance. The PwC team collaborated with Pizza Hut personnel, the franchisee community, and suppliers to implement performance improvements that resulted in an enhanced customer experience and delivered significant cost savings to the system.
PwC also was a finalist in the Strategic Operating Model Design category (PwC and Vodafone UK, Telefonica UK and Everything Everywhere) and in the Growth Strategies category (PwC and AT&T).
The AMCF honored the winners February 28, 2013 at a gala held at the Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers in New York City. To learn more about the awards and the judging criteria, visit www.amcf.org.
