NEW YORK, Oct. 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- PwC US today announced that Jillian Griffiths, partner in the firm's U.S. Advisory Deals practice, has been named one of Consulting magazine's "2013 Women Leaders in Consulting" for her outstanding achievements in client service.  Consulting magazine recognizes the achievements of 10 women who have made a profound difference to the profession, their clients and the firms they represent.  Griffiths will be honored at the 7th annual Women Leaders in Consulting Gala Awards Dinner on November 7th at the St. Regis in New York.

"Jillian truly exemplifies all the qualities that this award represents and has proven to be a trusted deal advisor to her clients over the years.  Clients choose to work with Jillian for her deep understanding of deal processes from strategy through execution, as well as her unyielding attention to detail and consistent delivery of high quality client service.  She also has a keen ability to manage diverse executive teams at a high level," said Martyn Curragh, PwC's U.S. Deals leader.  "Not only is Jillian admired by those outside the organization, but she is also recognized within the firm as a reliable mentor and valuable team leader with a broad and deep network within PwC.  We congratulate her on this well-deserved recognition and we look forward to her continued excellence at PwC."

With her international experience in leading diverse cross-functional deal teams, Griffiths assists her clients with thorough analysis of deal alternatives and innovative approaches to reducing transaction risk, expediting closing and enhancing structures and outcomes.  Having dedicated the majority of her years in public accounting to advising private equity firms and Fortune 500 companies, she offers clients an uncommon depth of understanding of the due diligence process – from start to finish.  She is also highly respected for her ability to identify and quantify the impact of financial and business issues on purchase price and investor return.  Her experience has included over 150 transactions, across most industries from manufacturing and distribution to retail and services.

"I am incredibly honored to be recognized among this esteemed group of women in the consulting profession," said Griffiths. "PwC's culture and programs enable and encourage female leadership development and I'm extremely grateful for both the opportunities that the firm has offered me, as well as the incredible support of my team."

Griffiths is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Miami University of Ohio. Griffiths was a member of PwC's new partner Advisory Council and has participated in PwC's leadership development program for client service partners. In addition to her other activities, she is an avid runner and a London-trained gourmet cook.
