PwC's Scott McIntyre Recognized as Top Consultant for 2015
Awarded for leadership and excellence in public sector by Consulting magazine
NEW YORK, June 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- PwC US today announced that Scott McIntyre, managing partner and the firm's U.S. public sector leader, was honored among Consulting magazine's list of the Top 25 Consultants for 2015. Scott was awarded for his leadership and excellence in the public sector at the seventh annual Top 25 Consultants awards dinner in New York on June 18.
Each year, Consulting magazine identifies the most influential consultants in the consulting profession—those individuals having the biggest impact on their clients, their firms and the profession. According to Consulting, the Top 25 Consultants distinguish themselves with their ability to effect change, and their extraordinary efforts have helped define the essence of what it means to be a "trusted advisor" to clients.

As the leader of PwC's public sector practice, Scott oversees more than 1100 professionals who help federal, state and local governments improve performance and output. Under his leadership, PwC's public sector practice was recognized with the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award for performance excellence through innovation, improvement and visionary leadership. This was the first time a large consulting firm has been recognized with this honor.
Scott graduated from The John Hopkins University with an MS in Information Systems and received an MBA from the Willamette University Atkinson Graduate School of Management. Dedicated to giving back, he is Chairman of the Prevent Cancer Foundation.
