Qmed Announces Increase in Dedicated Staff as Part of Development Plans for 2011

LOS ANGELES, March 30, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- UBM Canon today announced the appointment of dedicated personnel to Qmed.com, the world's only 100% qualified supplier search engine and sourcing platform for medical device OEMs.  The additional staff was announced as part of UBM Canon's plans to greatly increase enhancements in Qmed throughout 2011.

Tim Simone, Qmed Brand Director, will be responsible for providing leadership and direction for Qmed, driving the next phase of development for the product, expanding the platform globally and creating increased value for enhanced listing suppliers.

Alison LeBoeuf will join Nicole Welter as New Business Development Managers for Qmed.
