To kick off Quaker's one million bowl giveaway, the trusted leader in oats shared warm, tasty thank you breakfasts with some of the people who help families get their days off to a great start. Appreciation breakfasts were served to groups of teachers and day care providers to give them a little love and care for all they do. Starting on National Oatmeal Day (October 29), Quaker will begin to distribute bowls of oatmeal through a variety of ways to reach the one million commitment, including:
- Online – Follow @Quaker on Twitter or find Quaker on Facebook for information on how to gift someone – whether it's a family member, friend, co-worker or yourself – a free cup of Quaker oatmeal. October 29 Only. While Supplies Last. Terms Apply.
- Commuter Sampling – Street teams will be handing out Instant Quaker Oatmeal cups to morning commuters in select markets across the country including: Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco and Washington D.C.
- Doorstep Drops – Residents will wake up to find Instant Quaker Oatmeal pouches at their doorstep in cities from coast to coast.
