ELGIN, Ill., March 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Quantum Plastics, LLC announced today that it has acquired 3D Plastics, Inc. ('3D').
This acquisition reflects Quantum Plastics' ongoing focus on expanding its North American footprint while breaking into new manufacturing industries.
3D is an ISO 9001:2008 certified injection molding and blow molding facility located in Gladewater, Texas; about 1.5 hours east of Dallas. 3D's injection and blow molding machines manufacture plastic parts for the automotive, food and beverage, and firearm industries. Most notably, 3D molds seatbelt parts and firearm ammunition components.
