On August 26, 2014, Trina Solar Limited (Trina Solar) announced its Q2 2014 financial results. The Company reported a growth of 17.9% YoY in revenues at $519.4 million. In Q2 2014, the Company's total shipments were 943.3 MW, compared to 646.6 MW in Q2 2013. Trina Solar said that the increase in shipments and revenues was driven largely by rising shipment volumes due to growing demand from key geographical regions, particularly China, Japan and the U.S. Net income attributable to Trina Solar was $10.7 million in Q2 2014, compared to a net loss of $33.7 million in the year ago period. (Analog Devices) introduced three ultra-low-power, multichannel, 12-bit, 1-MSPS SAR (successive approximation register) A/D converters, designed for battery-powered data acquisition modules, handheld meters, field instruments and communications applications as well as medical devices.
