Questar Assessment Inc. Names New Chief Information Officer
Brendan Kealey brings 20 years of experience in technology and education
MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 29, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of Questar Assessment Inc.'s commitment to innovation, the K-12 assessment solution provider has named Brendan Kealey as its new chief information officer. Kealey has more than 20 years of experience in the education assessment industry, including expertise in engineering, product management, and software development.

Kealey will provide day-to-day leadership of Questar Assessment's engineering, delivery, and infrastructure teams. He will also manage the ongoing improvement and advancement of the company's information technology.

Kealey began his career at Pearson, Inc. in 1997. He was promoted to vice president of software product development in 2011 and was responsible for leading the design, engineering, and administration of the company's large-scale assessment platforms and products. Among his many accomplishments in this role, Kealey led the reinvention of Pearson's portfolio of assessment platforms to modernize them around a set of core design principles. He also implemented product management practices to create a more predictable and transparent technology delivery organization.
Kealey is a graduate of the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business, where he earned a Master of Business Administration in marketing and a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Business Administration in management information systems. He also holds two U.S. patents.
