Quiver Launched By Stillwell & Music Industry Veteran Kenny Ochoa

NEW YORK, June 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Stillwell Partners today announced a new venture in partnership with longtime music industry executive, Kenny Ochoa: Quiver, a strategic and multifaceted creative company dedicated to music, talent and content.  With headquarters in Los Angeles and offices in New York City and London at inception, Quiver will streamline music and talent strategy and rights acquisition for Madison Avenue, Hollywood and the extended music industry ecosystem.

At launch, Quiver will provide:

Over the course of his 20-year career in the music industry, Ochoa has collaborated with some of the most ground-breaking artists and executives in music, entertainment and brand building.  He has executed multi-million dollar campaigns and strategic partnerships with Madison Avenue, Hollywood studios, and Silicon Valley such as Tegan & Sara's "Everything Is Awesome" for Warner Bros Pictures' The Lego Movie; Train and Samsung; Muse for NCAA's March Madness and Paramount Pictures' World War Z and worldwide Apple advertising campaigns featuring The Ting Tings, Franz Ferdinand and Cake, to name a few.

In his most recent role as Senior Vice President, Creative Sync Licensing & Soundtracks at Warner Bros Records, Ochoa and his department were responsible for identifying and securing synchronization licensing, marketing and soundtrack opportunities for Warner Bros Records, as well as developing and establishing a roster of artists, including the Black Keys, Linkin Park, Muse and the Flaming Lips.  Prior to Warner Bros Records, he was Vice President of Music Licensing at Sony Music Entertainment, where he was the company's chief liaison to the advertising and brand community.  At Sony, Ochoa brokered high profile deals including Train with Samsung, Brandi Carlile with General Motors, John Mayer with Hallmark, Ray LaMontagne with Travelers Insurance and worldwide Apple advertising campaigns featuring The Ting Tings, Franz Ferdinand and Cake.

Ochoa's history in the music licensing and brand world goes back to placing music on acclaimed and influential television shows such as The O.C., The Sopranos, Entourage and Grey's Anatomy.  He also led the early use of licensed music in video games (Tony Hawk Pro Skater series, Grand Theft Auto) as well as the award-winning Hewlett Packard campaign featuring The Kinks "Picture Book".
