NASHVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Radiation Business Solutions (RBS) urges radiation oncology providers and industry leaders nationwide to join ongoing advocacy efforts concerning the CMS proposed CY 2027 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule.

While CMS has proposed increases for certain treatment delivery codes, many providers remain concerned about reductions that would affect treatment planning, medical physics, treatment management, stereotactic treatments (SBRT/SRS), proton therapy, and other essential services. Industry leaders are evaluating the cumulative effect these changes may have on the financial sustainability of cancer programs and patients' continued access to care.
