CARROLLTON, Texas, Dec. 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- This week MB2 Dental Solutions reflected humbly on the company's ability to come together and help victims and employees affected by Hurricane Harvey, the devastating hurricane that hit Houston in August. The latest video in the dental service organization's We Are Dentistry series, titled "Overcoming Hurricane Harvey 2017", depicts disaster relief efforts and features staggering stories of MB2 Dental employees impacted by the Category 4 hurricane.

MB2 Dental: WE ARE DENTISTRY- Overcoming Hurricane Harvey 2017

Hurricane Harvey disrupted 25 affiliate offices and severely altered the lives of hundreds of affiliated employees. MB2 Dental immediately launched a relief initiative to collect supplies and set a goal to raise $100,000 to help meet the needs of employees affected. This month, MB2 Dental hit 94% of its goal by raising over $93,000.

Team members and patients contributed everything they could to support their MB2 family and others in need. All donations were loaded up and taken to MB2 Dental affiliate offices and local churches in affected cities such as Beaumont and Victoria, Texas.

"We are beyond grateful to our MB2 family for coming together so quickly and selflessly to help employees affected by Hurricane Harvey," said Dr. Chris Villanueva, Founder and CEO of MB2 Dental. One particularly heartbreaking story highlighted in "Overcoming Hurricane Harvey 2017" is from a MB2 Dental affiliated doctor who delivered her newborn baby just days before the hurricane hit. With no electricity or running water and a newborn to care for, she thankfully evacuated her family safely from the storm.
