Randstad Wins Two 2013 Stevie® Awards for Leadership & Innovative Marketing Campaign

ATLANTA, June 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Randstad, the second largest HR services and staffing company in the world, was awarded two Stevie Awards at the 2013 American Business Awards. Jim Link, Managing Director of Human Resources at Randstad US, was honored with a Gold Stevie Award as HR Executive of the Year. Randstad also received a Silver Stevie Award for its "Inspiring Experts" campaign in the Brand Experience of the Year marketing category.

As HR Executive of the Year, Jim Link oversees Randstad's human capital strategy, as well as managing the company's Center of Learning Excellence, organizational design and strategy, talent acquisition, national operations and employee relations. Over the past year, Jim has enhanced recruiter efficiency, tripled the number of leadership programs and significantly grown employee participation in professional development programs.

Launched as a contest in 2012, "Inspiring Experts" called on participants to submit videos about their plans to change the world through their careers for a chance to win a number of different scholarships, cash and other prizes. Candidates were encouraged to ask for votes through both grassroots and social media campaigning. "Inspiring Experts" also engaged young professionals through a blog to connect students and professionals all year long. The 2012 contest resulted in 330 video submissions and 34,000 votes on InspiringExperts.com.  

More than 3,200 nominations for the 2013 American Business Awards were submitted for consideration from organizations of all sizes, and in virtually every industry; finalists were chosen by more than 140 business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in April and May.
