Randstad's Inspiring Experts Campaign Wins American Staffing Association National Communications Award

BOSTON, Sept. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Randstad's Inspiring Experts campaign has been awarded a top communications honor from the American Staffing Association (ASA) Staffing VOICE Awards competition. The HR services and staffing leader won a VOICE Award in the "Public Service – Excellence" category and a Crystal Award for one of the best campaigns in the overall contest. Its Inspiring Experts program aims to help bridge the skills gap and educate and inspire students and professionals towards careers in industries with low unemployment rates, including engineering, finance & accounting, IT, healthcare and pharma/life sciences.

The national awards program recognizes the best ASA member communications campaigns in 16 categories, from direct mail to social media. The Inspiring Experts campaign, which launched its second annual contest yesterday, asks students and professionals to submit a two minute video about why they are passionate about their careers or future career and why others should consider the same field at the Inspiring Experts Contest website. Students and professionals will compete for prizes, including a $10,000 scholarship.

The ASA Staffing VOICE Awards competition recognizes the voice, originality, innovation, creativity, and effectiveness—or VOICE—of ASA member communications campaigns. A panel of communications experts judges the entries in two award classes, for independent and national staffing firms, on general appeal and overall quality, content and message, originality of approach, target audience, and objectives.
