Randy Swart Named President of Leading West Coast Parcel and Freight Delivery Company, GSO

SAN RAMON, Calif., July 11, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- GSO, a wholly owned subsidiary of GLS U.S. Holding Company Inc, and leading regional carrier for Parcel and LTL Freight delivery throughout the West, announced that it has appointed Randall (Randy) K. Swart as the company President.

Randy is a veteran of the transportation industry with 30 years of experience providing strategic, financial, and operations leadership within the parcel, freight, and logistics industry. After graduating from Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business with an MBA in 2003, Randy held roles such as Region Director of Sales and Operations for Viking Freight, Vice President of Sales for UPS Freight, and most recently, spent ten years as Chief Operating Officer at Northeast transportation and logistics company, A. Duie Pyle.

In his role at GSO, Randy will report to Ivan Hofmann, CEO of GLS US and will work with senior management to accelerate the efficiency of the company's network, while positioning the company for future growth as it transitions to the GLS brand.
