Bruguera's new duties will include management of human resources, technology and the firm's back office. She will be upgrading the firm's computer systems and its website, and will be help train the firm's staff and attorneys to implement these upgrades.

Since coming from Cuba at age 16, Bruguera has undertaken a dual track of work and study, while also finding time for community service. While pursuing her studies at night and on weekends, she worked full time at the firm and, previously, she managed two retail stores. Bruguera graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor in Business Administration. She's currently a member of the National Society for Collegiate Scholars and has worked with AT&T Pioneers in organizing fundraisers and volunteer efforts to benefit various non-profit organizations in the community.
