Rebuilding Together and Partners Announce the Rebuilding Together Tradesperson of the Year™ Contest

WASHINGTON, Oct. 27 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Rebuilding Together, the nation's leading nonprofit working to preserve affordable homeownership, announced its national contest: Rebuilding Together Tradesperson of the Year™ - presented by WD-40.  Rebuilding Together has partnered with WD-40, On the House with the Carey Brothers, Sears Blue Tool Crew, Extended Stay by Choice Hotels, HGTVPro.com, and eLocal, to find skilled tradespersons that give back to their community and add value to their industry.

The Grand Prize winner will receive a trip for 2 to the Super Bowl, including a five-day, four-night stay at a Choice Extended Stay hotel, and $15,000 worth of tools and products courtesy of Sears Blue Tool Crew.  Runners-up and nominators will receive a variety of tool and product packages with a minimum value of $1,000 courtesy of Sears Blue Tool Crew.

Rebuilding Together works with thousands of volunteers from the skilled trades each year to renovate 10,000 homes and community centers. The work completed on behalf of the skilled trades industry aligns itself with Rebuilding Together's focus on preserving affordable homeownership, by completing skilled and essential repairs for low-income homeowners.
