Rebuilding Together works with thousands of volunteers from the skilled trades each year to renovate 10,000 homes and community centers. The work completed on behalf of the skilled trades industry aligns itself with Rebuilding Together's focus on preserving affordable homeownership, by completing skilled and essential repairs for low-income homeowners. Rebuilding Together, WD-40, and On the House with the Carey Brothers partnered to create this campaign to recognize the valuable contributions that skilled tradespersons make to their communities.

"Rebuilding Together Tradesperson of the Year contest was created to honor the generous year-round support of the skilled trade associations and countless tradespersons who donate time to Rebuilding Together. They constitute part of the 200 thousand annual volunteers who make our work possible," said Gary A. Officer, president and CEO of Rebuilding Together. "This nationwide contest is the perfect way to thank our skilled trades volunteers and generate recognition for all the work they do to give back in their communities, whether to Rebuilding Together or any other worthy charitable cause."
