On June 11, 2014, Yaap, the joint-venture between CaixaBank, Banco Santander and Telefónica, S.A. (Telefónica), announced the launch of Yaap Shopping, its first service, in Valladolid and Palma de Mallorca cities. According to the Company, customers who register in these cities will have automatic discounts throughout more than 200 participating businesses, with other Spanish cities joining in the following months. China Digital TV Holding Co., Ltd. Analyst Notes
On June 13, 2014, China Digital TV Holding Co., Ltd.(China Digital TV) announced that it has reached a framework agreement with Cinda Investment Co. Ltd. (Cinda Investment), a wholly owned subsidiary of China Cinda Asset Management Co., Ltd. for an asset restructuring. Under the agreement, the Company plans to inject its conditional access systems, Network Broadcasting Platform and Video on Demand businesses into Shanghai Tongda Venture Capital Co., Ltd., a Cinda Investment-controlled company which is listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. China Digital TV added that in exchange, the Company will acquire a controlling stake in Tongda Venture, and receive RMB1.15 billion in cash from Tongda Venture.
