FireEye, Inc. Analyst Notes

On July 1, 2014, (FireEye) announced the release of the new FireEye Email Threat Prevention Cloud, adding traditional email security features of anti-spam and anti-virus protection to its advanced threat detection capabilities. According to the Company, the latest update to the cloud creates the only secure gateway solution that utilizes the FireEye Multi-vector Virtual Execution (MVX) engine and FireEye Dynamic Threat Intelligence (DTI) cloud. FireEye informed that the new cloud offers key benefits such as comprehensive email security that combats phishing using an active protection-mode or monitor-only mode, and cost effective cloud deployment model without hardware or software installation. Intuit Inc. Analyst Notes

On July 1, 2014, Intuit Inc. (Intuit) announced that its Small Business Employment and Revenue Indexes reported a fourth consecutive month of job growth, with the addition of 20,000 jobs and the labor market continuously showing signs of revival. According to Susan Woodward, the economist working with the Company to create the indexes, the rise in revenues is approximately three-fourths of 1% and if the trend continues, revenues would yield an increase of 10% YoY. Intuit stated that despite the growth, employees experience little change in the number of hours worked as well as compensation. Employees worked an average of 107.2 hours in June, a decline of 1 minute, and average monthly compensation grew 0.03% to $1 from May, 2014 revised figure. Red Hat, Inc. Analyst Notes

On June 30, 2014, Red Hat, Inc. (Red Hat) announced a new cloud management certification for Red Hat Enterprise Linux Open Stack Platform as part of its OpenStack Cloud Infrastructure Partner Network, the largest commercial ecosystem for OpenStack. Red Hat stated that it will enable cloud management solutions from partners to interoperate and manage the platform.
