On June 1, the RCA site located at 8530 Township Line Road in Indianapolis welcomed its first mental health patient without a primary substance use disorder diagnosis, marking a pivotal step in the site's continued growth and its mission to broaden access to high-quality care.

The new Mental Health Services Residential Treatment program offers long-term residential treatment for those experiencing mental health disorders, with or without a co-occurring substance use disorder diagnosis. Rooted in a structured and supportive environment, the program fosters healing through community, connection and clinical expertise - helping patients stabilize and thrive alongside others navigating similar challenges. The new program allows RCA to deliver specialized care that fills a critical and evolving need for behavioral health care in the region.

To support patients at every stage of their journey, RCA at Indianapolis additionally offers outpatient mental health services that are available both to those stepping down from residential care and to individuals starting treatment for the first time. They'll have access to tailored support through Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) designed to meet people where they are, ensuring there's no wrong door to treatment.
