Rentvine Expands AI Leadership with Rentvine Cru's Growing Agent Collection and MCP General Availability

At NARPM National in Las Vegas, Rentvine unveiled its growing list of in-app AI agents, Guidance, and the general availability of Rentvine MCP.

BONITA SPRINGS, Fla., Oct. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Rentvine, the fastest-growing property management software in the single-family rentals industry, expanded its AI leadership at NARPM National in Las Vegas last week, unveiling Rentvine Cru's growing collection of in-app agents and the general availability of Rentvine MCP, the first Model Context Protocol connection built by a property management accounting software with full access to the platform, now available to every customer.

"Rentvine Cru isn't one tool. It's a collection of agents being built directly into the platform, and Guidance lets customers shape that AI," said Nat Kunes, CEO at Rentvine. "Our customers have been clear about what they don't want: another tool that promises automation and lacks flexibility. Rentvine Cru and MCP are how we answered both."

Rentvine Cru: the newest member of your AI crew

Rentvine Cru is Rentvine's growing collection of in-app AI agents, each built as a pro skill inside the platform. Its first agent, focused on maintenance, is now available to every customer, with leasing and accounting coming soon.

Cru reviews maintenance work as it comes in, surfacing a ranked vendor suggestion for a new work order, flagging a closed issue that resurfaces, catching duplicate requests, and drafting routine resident and vendor messages. Its recommendations are pulled from that company's own history in the platform, not a generic playbook, so they sharpen the longer a team uses Rentvine.

Where Cru's recommendations come from a company's history, Guidance comes directly from the property manager. In natural language, a team tells Cru how to handle a situation, rather than accepting a one-size-fits-all default. It isn't the model learning from history – it's the property manager setting the rule, in their own words.

Rentvine MCP: full access, now generally available

In a recent survey, Rentvine MCP earned an average recommended score of 9 out of 10. "It's amazing. I had it calculate termination fees on a multi-unit owner. Would have taken an hour and Claude did it in minutes," said one Rentvine customer. "It saved us from a fairly big owner cancellation. It's the greatest advancement in the industry that I have seen in the last 15 years."

Most AI tools in property management can only read back what's already in a report. Rentvine MCP goes further, with more than 90 governed tools spanning the full operating model, from portfolios and leases to vendors and work orders. A property manager can ask a plain-English question in Claude, ChatGPT, or another AI tool and get an answer pulled from live data or generate commands centers, dashboards, and custom automations.

"Most of this industry's software was built years before anyone thought about AI," Kunes said. "When they try to add it now, one of three things happens: the system's too old to carry the load, the AI is bolted on and read-only, or the underlying system is so customized that nothing standard can plug into it. We built Rentvine's architecture to avoid all three, so our customers get real value from Cru, Guidance, and MCP today."
