RepairClinic.com Enlists Fry, Inc. for E-commerce Site Redesign
E-commerce expertise an important factor in decision
ANN ARBOR, Mich., March 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Fry, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of MICROS Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: MCRS) and a leading e-commerce solutions provider today announced that RepairClinic.com, an online source of appliance parts and accessories, has chosen Fry to redesign its e-commerce site.
RepairClinic.com is the online source for home appliance parts and accessories dedicated to providing consumers with a complete solution for obtaining the parts, information and expert advice they need to fix their own appliances. The site has offered do-it-yourself consumers competitive pricing, expedited delivery and helpful information online for over a decade. Seeking an updated look and better tools for its customers, RepairClinic.com enlisted Fry to redesign the site based on Fry's knowledge of e-commerce, creative design and user experience.
"We conducted an exhaustive search of web design companies and selected Fry for its e-commerce expertise and incredible portfolio of work," said Chris Hall, president of RepairClinic.com. "We are consistently reassured by the breadth and skill of the Fry team and have been very impressed with the process so far."
In addition to creative design, Fry will perform branding activities for the site including creation of a new logo and tag line. The new site will better communicate the quality and reliability of the brands and lead consumers to find the right information and tools for their needs.
"When designing an e-commerce site, it is crucial that the parties involved have a deep understanding of how consumers think, feel and act online," said Rudy Pataro, president of Fry. "We are pleased to offer our expertise to RepairClinic.com in the development and redesign of its e-commerce site, and are confident it will drive consumer satisfaction and increase purchasing activity."
