Rescue Village's Woofstock Dog Festival returns Sept. 7 - Community partners raise $141,000+ to support homeless animals
CLEVELAND, Sept. 3, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Thousands of dogs, live music, food trucks, and community spirit come together as Rescue Village hosts the 32nd annual Woofstock, a three-time Best of the East winner, as chosen by Cleveland Magazine readers. The celebrated dog festival and fundraiser is Sunday, September 7, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Cleveland Metroparks Polo Field.
Last year, nearly 10,000 people and 4,000 dogs came together at the Polo Field. More than a festival, Woofstock has become a beloved community tradition built on grassroots spirit and generous hearts. Families gather with their pets to celebrate and to stand behind Rescue Village's lifesaving mission.
This year's Woofstock is made possible by Presenting Sponsor Solon Manufacturing Co., along with Top Dog Sponsors ANI (Archaeological Networks Inc.), Embrace Pet Insurance, Chagrin Valley Soap & Salve Company, and SwiftPaws, and Best in Show Sponsors CG Accounting, MAP Construction HVAC & Roofing, Onyx Creative, Parker, the Wenk Family Charitable Foundation, The Young Team, and many others.
"We are humbled by the opportunity to contribute to the lifesaving efforts of Rescue Village through a Woofstock sponsorship and urge everyone to consider supporting this mission—and have fun while doing it!" said Diane Popovich, CEO of Solon Manufacturing Company.
"Woofstock is a community tradition," said Kenneth Clarke, Rescue Village's Executive Director. "It's a day for families and their dogs to enjoy together, while also supporting animals who still need homes.
The support from Woofstock drives the lifesaving work that earned Rescue Village national acclaim. Recently, Miranda Lambert's MuttNation Foundation recognized the shelter as a top in the U.S.A., an achievement made possible by the community that comes together each year at Woofstock.
Families can enjoy dog games, lure courses, dock diving, food trucks, live music, and a beer garden. Surveys show the top activity every year is simply "dog watching."
