What: The U.S. Census Bureau will hold an embargo-period technical webinar on two new American Community Survey data sets:

This is the first time this level of statistical detail has been available for groups since Census 2000. The data sets compile five years of data to produce detailed estimates at multiple levels of geography for hundreds of race, Hispanic origin, ancestry and tribal groups. The event will consist of a simultaneous audio conference and online presentation. Reporters will be able to ask questions once the presentation is complete. We suggest reporters log in and call in early.

Nicholas Jones, chief, Racial Statistics Branch, Population Division
Jackie Mommsen, American FactFinder
