RF Technologies expands product offering with RTLS

BROOKFIELD, Wis., Feb. 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- RF Technologies^®, a leading provider of radio frequency identification (RFID) safety and security solutions, announced today a realignment of its product offerings to better serve customers in the healthcare, education and hospitality markets.

RF Technologies, which is already the parent brand to Code Alert^®, Safe Place^®, and Sensatec^®, will add two solutions from its sister company, PinPoint Technologies. The repositioning of PinPoint Technologies moves its product lines, the Help Alert^® Staff Duress Solution and ExacTrack^® Asset Management Solution, back under the RF Technologies family of brands.

With ExacTrack, small tags are attached to valuable mobile assets, such as medical equipment or shared resources. Each tag is assigned a unique code, so system users can easily locate assets and review their status, helping save time and increase productivity.

Help Alert and ExacTrack are powered by PinPoint^® real-time locationing systems (RTLS) technology to provide location accuracy within an existing Wi-Fi infrastructure, which means no wires, power cables, or new construction work is needed for their installation.
