Performance Apparel Brand, Founded in Fairfield County, Leases New Offices At RFR's 300,000 SF Downtown Trophy Property to Accommodate Growth

Rhone's 40,000 SF Footprint Covers Top 2 Floors

STAMFORD, Conn., Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Rhone, the performance-led lifestyle brand built to drive sustained progress, has leased over 40,000 square feet at 300 Atlantic Street in Stamford, the company jointly announced with building owner RFR. The transaction accommodates Rhone's continuing growth of its established national brand presence, with more than 150 employees expected to occupy the new headquarters space.

Founded locally in Fairfield County by brothers Nate and Ben Checketts in 2014, Rhone continues to expand its business centered on personal progress and Mental Fitness.  Rhone is to occupy a total of 40,000 square feet, including the top two floors of 300 Atlantic.

RFR is completing this September a thorough modernization of the property with over 10,000 square feet of amenity spaces to create an elevated workplace experience. The ground floor will offer a new high-end boutique café operated and curated by Dartcor Hospitality.  Additionally, a brand-new fitness center designed in collaboration with Core Health & Fitness will feature the latest cardio, strength and recovery equipment and technology from brands such as Star Trac, Throwdown, Nautilus and StairMaster.  The second-floor lounge and conferencing center will include new collaboration areas to accommodate events and meetings at any scale from 15 to 100+ attendees. Exterior improvements incorporate a new streetscape design, seating and lighting to transform the arrival experience.  Landscaping enhancements will allow employees and visitors to enjoy new outdoor areas that can support wellness initiatives and other community events.

In addition to common area and exterior improvements, brand new pre-built, move-in ready suites designed by Locus Design Collaborative will also be ready for immediate occupancy.  Recent leasing at 300 Atlantic Street includes deals with Bank Street Group LLC, InCommodities US LLC, Kelley Drye & Warren LLP, and Fifth Season Investments LLC.

Christian Bangert of Newmark represented Rhone in relation to the lease.  RFR's AJ Camhi, JoAnn McGrath and Rob Weller alongside a Newmark team of James Ritman, Brian Carcarterra, and Ben Goldstein represented RFR in the transaction.
