Richard A. Berry, CFA, Joins Brasada as a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager

HOUSTON, July 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --  Brasada today announces that Dick Berry has joined the firm as a fixed income portfolio manager.  With a lengthy and distinguished track record as a municipal bond portfolio manager, Dick will manage Brasada's private account bond portfolios.

Dick most recently worked for Invesco (formerly AIM Investments) as Chief Investment Officer for the firm's $3 billion offering of municipal bond mutual funds and private accounts.  He built an impressive twenty five year track record as lead portfolio manager of the Invesco Tax Free Intermediate Fund (AITFX), which was named the 2011 best in class national municipal fund by TheStreet.com.  Dick also was the lead portfolio manager on the Invesco Municipal Bond Fund (AMBDX) for just under twenty years.

Before joining AIM, Dick was the head of fixed income portfolio management at InterFirst Investment Management in Dallas, Texas, where he also supervised the trust investment departments for the firm's subsidiary banks.

Dick received his Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration degrees from Texas Christian University in Ft. Worth, Texas. A CFA charter holder, Dick is past President of the CFA Society of Dallas-Fort Worth and past Chairman of the Financial Analysts Seminar.
