Richard Howard Joins the SPGX Team to Build Up US Operations

Richard Howard recently joined the team at Sustainable Projects Group Inc. (SPGX) as Head of Business Development. SPGX, a multinational business development company positioned at the perfect intersection of growth and sustainability, is building up operations in the US and expanding their talented team.

Proficient in thinking outside the box, Richard brings a strong and diverse sales background. Prior to SPGX, he served as Vice President of the Builder and High-Rise Division US at Shaw Industries. He began his 18-year tenure at Shaw as a chemist working in the field as a Territory Manager for a decade, building sales experience and public interest in Shaw as well as understanding the brand. Richard served another 8 years specializing in large builder and high rise (tower) projects throughout the US. During this time, he focused on brand-building, networking, and supply chain development as well as a product knowledge education program for Shaw's hard surface division.

In addition to having experience in construction as a floorcovering installer, Richard previously owned a restaurant in Orlando. He holds an MBA in Business and a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Florida. A former US Marine, he served a 5 ½ year stint in the Recon unit. In his spare time, Richard enjoys kayaking, camping, spending time with his family, running. and HIIT workouts. He also enjoyed two Iron Man World Championship entries in Kona which he found to be mentally and physically challenging as well as rewarding.
