Ringo Starr and All-Starr Band Returning to Fallsview to Launch North American Tour

NIAGARA FALLS, ON, March 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ - Rock legend and former Beatle Ringo Starr returns to Fallsview Casino Resort with his newest All-Starr Band to kick-off their summer tour with a pair of sure-to-sell-out concerts on June 14 and 15. Fallsview Casino will be the only Canadian venue on the 24-stop tour.

The 13^th All-Starr Band includes newcomers Steve Lukather (Toto) and Gregg Rolie (Santana & Journey) and veterans Todd Rundgren (Utopia), Richard Page (Mr. Mister), saxophonist Mark Rivera and drummer Gregg Bissonette. The group will rehearse for two weeks at Fallsview Casino before starting their tour, which will promote Starr's new album "Ringo 2012" a follow up to his 2010 album "Y Not".

Rounding out the June 2012 concert line-up is 6 CHIX, a talented collection of six female singer-songwriters from Nashville who return to the Avalon stage from July 20-30. Fallsview Casino also showcases Italian singer, songwriter and composer Claudio Baglioni, and the ever-popular one-night Songwriter's Series, which brings together some of Nashville's classic songwriters. Featured this month are Bob DiPiero and Tim Nichols with special guests Keith Anderson and Leslie Satcher.
