RiseSmart forecasts New England win based on Boston's lower unemployment rate

SAN JOSE, Calif., Feb. 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The team winning the 2017 professional football championship game will be from the city with a lower unemployment rate, according to a prediction by leading provider of contemporary career transition services, RiseSmart. The New England team hailing from Boston, currently holds a 2.4% unemployment rate, will beat Atlanta, where the unemployment rate is 4.8%, according to large metropolitan area unemployment rates from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).

RiseSmart successfully predicted Denver's victory over Carolina in 2016. This is the seventh consecutive year RiseSmart has issued its "Big Game" prediction based on unemployment data, claiming the team whose fan base enjoys greater economic prosperity, as measured by lower unemployment rates, will win.
