Mark Rushton, Editor of PPI magazine and chairman of the jury for the PPI Awards, commented, "Based on the positive feedback from the industry last year, we are pleased to be organizing the PPI Awards once again in 2010. The PPI Awards program proved to be a popular new launch in the industry judging by the high quality applicants, the number of entries and the attendance at the event by leading companies. The 2010 awards will provide another opportunity for pulp and papermakers worldwide to show off their achievements on a global platform."
HP and ColorLok have signed on as the headline sponsor for this year's awards program. A number of other leading companies in the industry have also signed up to sponsor award categories. Additional category sponsorships and exclusive opportunities are available. Please visit the www.ppiawards.com website for more information.
Glen Hopkins, Hewlett Packard Vice President and General Manager, Printing & Technology Platforms R&D, commented, "In the highly competitive world we live in, it's important to recognize organizations and initiatives benefiting the pulp and paper industry as a whole while finding ways to collaborate and collectively grow our individual businesses. The ColorLok 'Better Paper for Better Printing' program is an example we are particularly proud of at HP. As headline sponsor of the PPI Awards program, we are honored to reward others whose leadership, vision, and innovation will power the future of our industry."
